Corporate Social Responsibility at Blazing Moon focuses on providing skills and knowledge that will empower and grow individuals personally and within their careers. Blazing Moon is working in partnership with a number of companies, by supporting its CSR programmes.

During 2008 Blazing Moon supported the Endangered Wildlife Trust. Free training, training material and services to the value of +- R25 000 was conducted during the year and various other EWT initiatives were supported.
Over the past few years Blazing Moon has also been involved in various other CSR initiatives within companies.

• Blazing Moon is working in partnership with a large Banking group in its social responsibility programs whereby our training, manuals and Blazing Moon services are offered to previously disadvantaged people in the community free of charge. There are several projects underway.
• In addition we have recently joined a large Retail holding company with their Corporate Social Investment Project. A number of PC’s and free training were donated to this client to distribute as part of their Corporate Social Investment Project.
• Blazing Moon has also been involved with projects of free training services to start up builders who wish to become computer literate. This program has involved the donation of free training and our courseware to these individuals to attend our courses free of charge.
• As part of our offering to the Mining industry, Blazing Moon has offered its training services free of charge in the form of after hours training on general computer literacy topics to spouses and dependants of the learners we have had in training session during the day.
• Blazing Moon is involved with a BEE Development company whereby we have donated a number of PCs and free training services to compliment the social investment projects.
• At various times during the year Blazing Moon offers free end user training to individuals who require qualifications in Microsoft products to increase their marketability in finding work; we support PDI’s in this respect.
• On an Ad Hoc basis Blazing Moon will donate PC’s or training to various charity organisations, i.e. Hospice.
